The Eleanor Buffet (vintage rentals)

Introducing The Eleanor Buffet....

She's a great vintage cabinet with lovely details. I painted this piece with Amy Howard's One Step Paint in "Ballet White". If you're in the central Iowa area, Cappel's Ace Hardware in West Des Moines stocks a great selection of Amy Howard products.

Robyn, at The Bistro in Story City, made me the prettiest cupcakes for these photos. She has an occasional café and catering business. Her food is amazing! If you're ever in that area, be sure to stop in for a delicious meal and save room for dessert. Thanks so much Robyn!

Eleanor could be used in all sorts of settings... think dessert or drink station, cake table, display piece for photos, etc. Her dimensions are: height- 36.5 inches, width- 41.5 inches, depth-19 inches.

The Poppy Table and Winston Wagon (vintage rentals)

Introducing the Poppy Table....

She is one of my all-time-favorite finds. Love the simple details of this piece. When I bought her she looked like this...

The photo is from my IG account awhile back. I decided to use Amy Howard's at Home One Step Paint. It's similar to Chalk Paint, and really great to work with. "Ballet White" was my color choice. I love how she turned out. Great potential for so many settings, especially as a guest book table. And she pairs beautifully with the Rosily Chair (featured here ).

I found this vintage mailbox and thought it would be a great addition to the collection. I painted her in Amy Howard's One Step Paint as well. "French Blue" was the perfect choice for a little pop of color. The gold letters are from Hobby Lobby. Notice the little detail at the bottom... you can make a name tag fitting for the occasion.

Dimensions for Poppy are: height- 30.5 inches, width- 34 inches, depth- 19.5 inches.

The Winston Wagon is also available. As I painted it gray and white,  I pictured it being useful as a wedding wagon. Practical, simple and sweet. The dimensions are: height- 20 inches, width- 36 inches, depth- 16 inches (the white side rails do come off if needed).

The Emmy Lou Chalkboard & Rosily Chairs (vintage rentals)

Introducing the Emmy Lou Chalkboard & Rosily Chairs. Great vintage pieces that may work well for your next special event.

The Emmy Lou Chalkboard is such a fun prop! So many options for this... think personal wedding or shower sign, backdrop for a photo booth, a menu board, back drop for a dessert or drink station,  etc... I had a good friend come over and she worked her artistic wonder with a chalk marker. Lots of great ideas out there in the land of Pinterest for chalkboard art.

I think Emmy Lou and Josephine are such a cute pair! (The Josephine Crib is featured here.) For baby showers, the chalkboard sign could be personalized with the baby's name. Other great scripts could be something like... "Welcome Little One" or a "Fearfully and Wonderfully Made" sign.

 She is definitely a statement piece. These are the measurements for her. Also for reference, as you think about script/art design, the blackboard itself measures 35 inches by 46 inches.

I enjoy following The School of Styling on Instagram. Here's a photo from their feed for some inspiration. I love how they used the chalkboard for this occasion...

Now, for the Rosily Chairs. They are quite charming with their layers of light blue paint and chippy charm. They would work well for a sweetheart table, Mr. & Mrs. chairs, lounge area chairs, etc...

They are approximately 35 inches tall and 18 inches wide.

The Josephine Crib ~ (vintage rental)

I've been working on a small collection of vintage furniture. I'm going to see if there is any interest in my area, to rent out these pieces for special events. Think weddings, graduations, showers, birthday parties or any other event that may need a few special details to help bring it all together.

The first piece I'm featuring is:

The Josephine Crib

The idea for the crib is quite simple and sweet. If you're hosting a baby shower, the crib can be used to hold the baby gifts. Place them in and around it. It's the perfect piece to display some of the gifts as well. Hang up an outfit or two and/or a beautiful baby blanket. You could have all sorts of fun working with sweet Josephine. She's petite and charming!

Rental Price: $30 dollars
Her dimensions are: width- 34 inches, height- 30.5 inches, depth- 21.5 inches.
