I found this vintage wood box and knew I had to find a way to put it to use. It's a sturdy little thing with lovely dovetailed joints. I decided this would be perfect as a First Aid Kit.
because who wants this ugly thing...
when you can have this...
Pretty and practical... I love it! I painted the box with a mixture of French Linen and Old White Chalk Paint. For the cross, I used flat white paint.
Projects have not been easy for me to get to so far this year. When I do find the time and energy, I have plenty of options awaiting me. I did have a tea party this past week and that allowed me the opportunity to set a pretty table and enjoy some time with friends from church.
Other than that, it's me trying to keep up with these three and some serious cabin fever! Spring come quickly please... we need you.
Thanks for stopping by.

ReplyDeleteI really like your first aid box! It's such a simple design with a lot of impact. You are really doing a nice job using greys in your home. Your little helpers are adorable!
ReplyDeleteLove your first aid box - and LOVE the dresser it's sitting on - and LOVE your floors in the dining room and LOVE that photo of your little ones :)

It's very pretty, and grey is a great color. It looks Swedish now.
ReplyDeleteI love this! Probably highly influenced by the fact that I'm watching a show called "Call the Midwife" on Netflix right now, about midwives in East London in the 1950s. :)
ReplyDeleteI love your first aid box! Much prettier than that plastic one. Definitely cute enough to have sitting out and not hidden in the back of a linen closet like ours is! ;)
