I found this great little antique table at a flea market. She was weathered and worn but beautifully built. I snatched her right up.
I went to work with some new paint colors. I chose Annie Sloan's " Old Ochre" and "Pure White".
"Old Ochre" is a really warm neutral color and it looks great with a crisp clean white. It was perfect for this side table. (If you live in central Iowa and want to look into buying some Annie Sloan Chalk Paint you can find it here ... just tell Janet that Mimi sent you.)
Here's how the table looks now...
These vintage glass knobs were just right for this piece as well.
I got some good news this week as well. I get the opportunity to be a vendor at the Lucky Star Market again. So, mark your calendar for Saturday, December 6th... it will be a great place to do some holiday shopping. Check out the Lucky Star Market FB page here and keep up to date with who all will be there. This little table will be going to market with me as well as the dresser I painted in the previous post... (you can find that here ). From now until then, I'll be busy painting and gathering vintage housewares like these for market. Hope you can make it!
Thanks for stopping by!
