Vintage Ethan Allen Hutch...

I don't know what your husbands get you for gifts... but my husband does a great job getting me furniture to work on. This vintage Ethan Allen hutch/cabinet is one of those pieces.

She is such a little gem with so much character! I believe she came from the late 60's/70's when Ethan Allen was doing the Custom Room Plan furniture line and this one was in Daffodil and Alabaster. Her paint and finish were in pretty sad shape so I decided to paint her of course.

Here's how she turned out...

Since the glass panels were missing for the upper cabinet I thought this was the perfect opportunity to jump on the chicken wire bandwagon. It turned out great! The hutch has a charming cottage/farmhouse feel to it now.

Here she is all dressed up...

My little tags came in the mail this past week. Love them!

It feels great to have another project completed, looking forward to doing more of these this year.
I finally got my Facebook page started for Mimi's Vintage Charm , stop by if you get the chance!
