Fancy Girl Tea Party!

We had a special birthday party for Little Miss.
After all, she is 5. Truly a handful!

The theme was a "Fancy Girl Tea Party".
So, come along and I'll show you how it all came together.
Details, Details, Details...
There's plenty of pink & white, elements of vintage charm and old fashion fun!

The Invite:
The Table Setting:

Vintage glass party trays and cups were used:

I repurposed some baby jars for little party favors filled with lemon drops.
They were added to the tablescape because I thought they looked so cute.

I created a little photo area for our FANCY photos.
I found some wallpaper at Goodwill and made pinwheels and a banner.
Other supplies were: streamers, balloons and clothes pins.

So, here's how the FANCY photos came together.
(i edited for a fun vintage flavor)

The other games and activities were very simple and old fashion. After each game the girls were able to pick out a prize to take home in their party favor bag.

Musical Chairs:

Tea Bag Toss,  Clothes Pin Drop and Story Time:

And my favorite game was the pillowcase race.
At first they weren't sure about it...

but they got the hang of it quickly and looked adorable.

And finally, we were able to surprise Averi with her gift!

Yes, her very own trampoline :)
It was a good day!

My sweet Averi Grace,
You have filled our home with so much joy with your delightful spirit. You are my special little girl and I love you so much. You are such a smart and curious child. You are an encourager... you are strong but also tender hearted which is a great combination to have. I pray you continue grow in the love and knowledge of your Creator. May your heart remain soft and open to His truth and love. May you continue to be  mighty in spirit my sweet Averi Grace!

Love Always and Forever,
Mom

  2. A pure whimsical delight of a girly party. Everything looked lovely and so girlish. Dear Averi will remember this special party created with love from her mama. I'm sure her daddy had something to do with the trampoline.
